The giant spa area was really fun, with a pool table, spa, pool, and waterfall. However, the room was the worst in our two week road trip. The motel is in an industrial area next to a busy street with lots of road noise. The bathroom fan does not work, so they gave us a desk fan pointed at the window. There is mold in the corners and grout. The sink is cracked . No blackout curtains meant the room was filled with light all night. We are all exhausted. We would not stay here again.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful from the front desk to maintenance people. They respond quickly. The rooms are updated and comfortable. The heated pool and oasis are just great along with the comfortable patio and fire pits in the evening. À big plus is the limo rides to restaurants in the Old Town. This is a fun and comfortable place to stay for families.

In brief: This property is nothing more than a motel. It spins itself as a property meriting premium pricing, but the fact is: It's nothing more than a motel. Parking lot right outside your door. Paper thin walls. Shoehorned between the two main roads through Eureka. My recommendation: Look around. There are better properties with much lower pricing in Eureka.

We stayed in what they say newly remodeled rooms and it was clean and with 2 queen beds perfect for a family. The have a hot tub,pool, and free limousine service around town. They have a laundry area as well good for people traveling for long periods of time. Great experience for the kids.

At the end of April, 2025, I and three friends travel up from Marin and Sonoma counties to Eureka for a weekend conference. We stayed at the Best Western Plus Humboldt Bay Inn on 5th Street. It was our first time we stayed at this hotel. The staff was so very pleasant and helpful. They suggested we utilize their complimentary limousine service to bring us to a local restaurant for dinner. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. On our way to breakfast we passed the pool area which looked amazing and very inviting. Their breakfast was terrific with plenty of items to choose from. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely visit again. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Best Western Humboldt Bay. I highly recommend for families. There is a wonderful pool area with plenty of space and seating, and the best free breakfast we’ve had. Shout out to Amy who helped me fix my messed-up reservation that I double booked. It was also nice to be steps away from the parking lot for unpacking after a long day of walking.

This hotel is a great option if you're visiting Redwood National Park. We stayed in a room in the Pacific Wing of the property, which appeared to be recently renovated. The room had a lot of storage and bathroom counter space. The room was equipped with an extra table which was awkwardly placed in front of the wall AC unit. So if you like a cool room at night, you'll need to move the table to another part of the room. We didn't get to try the breakfast but it started early at 6am, which is great if you want to visit the park. If you want another food option, Kristina's is the next door within walking distance.

We've stayed at this hotel several times. It's a frequent request from my kids. This hotel has the most amazing outdoor pool space. View the pictures to understand how amazing it is. The description will not do it justice. The hot tub is massive and has a tropical grotto feel with waterfalls and light shows at night, Gas tiki torches and peaceful tropical music playing. The hotel staff keeps this property immaculate. The amenities at this hotel make it are absolute favorite and Eureka or honestly anywhere in Northern California. The included breakfast is not your standard continental. They always have a freshly cooked hot food option like country style potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausage along with a make your own waffle or pancakes with all the toppings.The option for a limo ride to local restaurants take it over the top. The beds and linens are fantastic, No thin scratchy polyester here.
